Smart Boy

The last day of school was this past Wednesday. He's so excited it's summer. We are very proud of him. He was on the honor roll all year and will continue in the gifted program for the 3rd year. He will be in 3rd grade in the fall...that is unbelievable to me! Where has the time gone? He'll be 8 in July...just think, in 8 more years, he'll be old enough to drive! OH MY GOSH...who will teach him? I'm thinking it'll probably be me because his Dad would probably not have the nerves for it. I guess I'm getting ahead of myself...but, I know that'll be a reality before I know it, just as it's a reality that I have a 3rd grader. It seems as though all I did was blink my eyes. Wow.
