We had a rare and much needed lazy weekend this weekend. With my back, it couldn't have come at a better time. It was a BYE weekend for Ev's soccer team, so he didn't have a game, and no scouts, either! We all went to Hobby Lobby Saturday morning (I love that store!) to buy what Evan needs for his physics project (an airplane) that he's working on for his FOCUS class (gifted class). Of course, they bought some different little planes just to play with also! This was one of them. If you look closely at the one taken from a distance, you can see the plane in midair!
Later that day, we all went to Ev's room to play Guitar Hero. Chana was thoroughly entertained, but decided she'd pass on guitar playing for now! Of course, Daddy did the best...I did alright, but it's not my forte to be sure! Evan did really well..especially since they were mostly older classic rock songs he's never heard before! The boy's got rhythm...and he didn't get it from me!
